Yoga makes your body hum – mmmm!
It was great starting our new term this week.
I have enjoyed my practise at home during the holidays and now I am looking forward to sharing it with you!
A regular yoga practise is great for your overall health and wellbeing. Like a well tuned and maintained car, yoga helps your body and mind hum along!
For those of you who are already students of yoga you will be familiar with the physical benefits; improved posture, maintaining and/or increasing flexibility and suppleness, balance, strength and long lean muscles that support our joints.
Sometimes our physical ailments benefit from yoga. Some students experience lowered blood pressure, and eased chronic conditions such as back pain and arthritis,
There are an equal number of benefits that are less tangible. Yoga combats stress, sharpens the mind, helps cultivate positivity and acceptance, hones discipline, and enhances a sense of self.
Yoga is a wonderful way to be well and stay well!
