We had a great time at our Bundanoon Retreat last month, and our 15 wonderful participants all came back with a new vigor and enthusiasm for continuing yoga and making it part of daily life. After all, the practice of yoga is not just getting to your class each week, it is finding ways to incorporate the peacefulness and stillness into all of life’s situations.
We were so blessed to have Cathy and Lynne lead us through some fabulous yoga sessions : from Chakra workshop and practical class to restorative postures and designing an individual 15 minute yoga class….. and so much more.
The vegetarian food at the Quest for Life Centre is excellent and we enjoyed every offering with gratitude, especially the Rice and Tofu balls ! Yum!
I have some great photos to share from the retreat 2013 but I will post them gradually.
Each year we try to arrange a retreat that is interesting that explores the Yoga Philosophies as well as participating in physical Yoga classes. Each year I come home from the retreat and feel so fortunate to be not only working with great yoga colleagues but with students who trust that the program will be nourishing enough to cater for every need, to provide just the right mix of serious and fun, practical and theory.
I feel sure we managed to create the right balance and look forward to more of you joining us for retreat 2014.
