What to Expect.
As part of our Program of weekly classes we now include a meditation meeting group that is designed to encourage continuing and developing skills in meditation.
The aim is to provide you with the skills and knowledge to help you on your meditation and mindfulness home practice journey.
Cathy Young will facilitate and lead this group and along with her Yoga Teacher Training Qualifications has also completed a Meditation Teacher Training course.
Included in these session:
Practice! is the key to getting started and gaining confidence. So during these sessions we will practice together. Discussions and Questions will result and part of the meditation journey is to consider some of the following;
Yoga Philosophy that will set the foundations and the “whys” of meditation.
The role that Yoga plays towards reaching a meditative state.
Finding the right body positions to practice.
Pranayama – Various breathing practices to support your meditation.
Experience a variety of types and styles of Meditation so you can have experiences that will identify what suits you best.
Suggested home practices will be offered and journaling encouraged.
This is for a smaller group of maximum 15 students so do not delay in securing your place.
