What to Expect.
We will begin with an Intensive workshop that will provide you with the skills and knowledge to help you get started on your meditation and mindfulness home practice.
Liz Kraefft and Cathy Young have developed a session to inspire and assist.
Yoga Philosophy that will set the foundations and the “whys” of meditation.
The role that Yoga plays towards reaching a meditative state.
Finding the right body positions to practice.
Pranayama – Various breathing practices to support your meditation.
Experience a variety of types and styles of Meditation so you can have experiences that will identify what suits you best.
Follow up Sessions
The half day workshop is followed by 4 x 1 hour sessions that are to be held in the lounge room area at the Church Hall.
In these sessions Cathy Young will facilitate and lead the group.
Practice, discussions and questions.
Suggested home practices will be offered and journaling encouraged.
