Amanda Muirhead

Amanda believes that yoga should ‘fit the individual’ – and her teaching reflects this philosophy. She deeply believes you are never too old, too tight or too unfit to do yoga! Classes are well rounded with a focus on breath and self -awareness – and include postures, meditation, relaxation and philosophy (just a little bit!) in a safe and supportive environment.

She encourages students to work at their own pace, adapting and adjusting within the limits of their fitness and flexibility (and without competition) to promote a sense of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, renewal and healing.

Her teaching is influenced by Kausthub Desikachar, Judith Lasater and Donna Farhi.
